This is the Feast Day of the Circumcision of Christ, one of the Feast Days in which we are reminded that Jesus is the Bridge between the Old Testament and the New. He lived under the Law established by God, and obeyed it perfectly. Jesus, our Saviour, Lives the perfect Life that we never could live. It is only by Union with Him that we, too, can achieve Everlasting Peace.
