The Holy Eucharist is our central act of worship. Here were see Christ, “face to face and handle things unseen.” The very Gate of Heaven is opened to us! Here the Word of God comes alive. Here the Community of the Faithful gathers to be nourished as the Body of Christ and sent out into the world to be a witness of the Light. We maintain the Catholic and Apostolic Faith as received by the Church of England and expressed in the Anglican Tradition. We believe that God took on frail human flesh in the person of Jesus Christ, in order that, having been made man in all respects, He could save us from sin. He has redeemed us through His Cross. In so doing, Jesus is our model, who liberally applies mercy to all who call upon him. By his Cross, Resurrection, and Ascension, Christ has made us living members of His Church—His Mystical Body, that great Communion of Saints. As we serve Him and strive to become more like Him, we serve the Church here on earth. We also await His coming in glory to judge both the quick and the dead where we shall forever be with Him in service of the Church Triumphant.
